Technology has the potential to make everything different. It also has the potential to change nothing. Which one you end up with depends on the extent to which you pick the brains of people as experienced and gifted as Mark Anderson when it comes to introducing learning technologies into the classroom.
A former assistant head teacher responsible for e-learning, award-winning blogger, Apple Distinguished Educator and a Google Certified Teacher, Mark’s philosophy is that learning technologies are a means by which learning can be enhanced for all, regardless of the classroom, the teacher and the learner. But you do need to do it right.
Through his online presence, his public appearances and his book, Perfect ICT Every Lesson, Mark has a growing reputation for being the man you most need to work with when it comes to ensuring the money and effort you put into your technology project actually make a difference to the learning.

Feedback from recent events include:
"Mark was delivering on assessment for learning, formative assessment to primary and secondary teachers, some native French speakers and some Mandarin native speakers. Here was where he triumphed. He got the mix right in several ways. He struck the right balances between doing and listening, theory and practice, able and less able (teachers!), novice and master, lo-tech and hi-tech, shallow dive and deep dive. He was able to engage the audience for the entire day and was still smiling at the end of the day! He takes his job seriously, but as it says on the independent thinking website education is too important to be taken seriously! Book this man!"
“Thanks to you for an engaging, fun and informative presentation, great to hear from a voice of experience”
“So many positive comments!! Thank you for making today an amazing event!!”
"Found your session really useful. I've been really inspired and has opened my eyes to the true potential!”
"Inspiring/informative talk from @ICTEvangelist”
For many schools, getting parents to the school for an event is something that is only beaten in difficulty by getting the right parents to school for an event. That said, the parents who do come to our Learning and Motivation for Parents Events always head home buzzing with ideas that are not only helpful in dealing with their children but also very relevant for their own careers and personal development.
Being a governor is an incredibly important task these days so we are delighted when we are asked to support them in their work in all sorts of schools around the country. Apart from ensuring the event is an entertaining and enjoyable one for all, especialy as it is so often on a rainy Saturday, we make sure our input is informative, relevant, up to date and guarantees all governors go back into their schools knowing what to look for, what to do and the rights sorts of questions to ask.
