I’m an experienced trainer, author and programme developer offering literacy training for a variety of phases and settings, especially for those who have struggled in mainstream education. Reading: That Reading Thing is a one-to-one literacy programme that gets young people and adults “unstuck” quickly. The training is 100% online and available for one person or as many as you like. Spelling: That Spelling Thing is a book but also a hands-on remote workshop which is suitable for any and all staff. I’ve most recently been training vocational tutors in colleges and prisons who are responsible for improving learner literacy without any English teaching expertise.
