“By having the strength to live and breathe your beliefs, you enable others to succeed”
Julie Rees
It is hard to put into words what the schools Julie leads are like. It may be the warmth of the staff. It may be the enthusiasm and eloquence of the children. It may be the range of activities that go on each day from peer massage to Philosophy for Children to Forest School learning to mindfulness in all the classrooms. Whatever it is, a visit is an incredibly moving, uplifting experience.

Such is the power of Values-based Education.

Julie’s work is proof that this approach can transform not only schools - and schools in quite challenging circumstances - but also communities. It is proof that if you want to do well in your results, you don’t just focus on your results, if you want to do well in an inspector’s eyes you don’t pander to Ofsted and if you want to make things better in school, you do more than simply focus on the school.
