Author of Perfect Assessment for Learning for Jackie Beere’s best-selling Perfect series, Claire is an accomplished teacher, trainer and consultant with a Masters in Educational Management who is equally at home in the conference room, training room or classroom working with teachers, school leaders and ‘walking the talk’ with young people themselves. Her mission is to help teachers in all sorts of schools create what she calls ‘irresistible learning’. For her, there are many, many strategies that teachers can employ that involve the minimum amount of preparation yet have the maximum amount of impact on children’s learning. Or, as we like to say, “If you’re planning a lesson and the word ‘laminate’ crops up, you’re trying too hard!”
Feedback from recent events include:
"Thank you so very much for the inspiring INSET. Our school attended the INSET and all the staff found it extremely useful, especially from the point of view of collecting lots of ideas to try out with their own classes back in school. Since the INSET the school has been filled with stepping stones, snowballs and robins! It has been wonderful. I have tried out lots of your ideas with the children I teach with great success and many of my colleagues have been using your ideas and strategies with their classes too."
