Independent Thinking is building stronger links with some of the UK’s most effective LAs in the new school support landscape.
Throughout nearly two decades of work supporting schools in the UK, Independent Thinking has been pleased to work with some very good local authorities. With the LA school support services facing significant changes to their world (and by ‘significant changes’ I mean ‘total destruction’) we are pleased that, rather than decommissioning entirely, some high performing LAs are looking to set up new structures for continuing work that does genuinely support schools in being better.
And we are delighted that some are looking to establish partnerships with Independent Thinking to ensure that the provision for schools isn’t just good, it’s world class.

Although it is early days and there is still a great deal of fog yet to clear from this new landscape, we are having some very exciting conversations with a number of LAs about such partnerships and are keen to explore similar possibilities with authorities (and other providers) in other parts of the country too.
