'Before-Dinner' Speeches

The After-Dinner Speech is a very strange phenomenon.

Put a large group of people in a room, ply them with food and drink and just when they think they can relax, have a complete stranger stand up to try and entertain them for 45 minutes whilst trying to put across one or two important messages that half of the audience will forget by the morning, the other half of which will forget the entire evening.

Although we have delivered some very successful After-Dinner Speeches in our time to audiences including the NAHT National Conference and the North of England Conference, as well as heads and deputies conferences and special INSET Events around the UK, we sometimes feel our important messages can be wasted at times in this way.

And we don't want to waste our time or your money

So, what about a 'Before-Dinner Speech'?

This way, we can set the evening off on the right tone - relaxed, professional and important - but without having to compete with bread roll-throwing from the PE department or the slurred heckling from the ambitious young middle manager who doesn't get out much.
